Jake Ritchie has been in the wedding & music industry for over 15 years. He has performed over 4,000 times and averages about 50 or so weddings a year. In 2004, he became the first DJ in northern Virginia to win an industry recognized award for his performance. In 2008 & 2009 he won the Weddingwire.com Bride’s Choice Award and was given an honorable mentioning in Warrenton Lifestyles Magazine Best of 2008. Jake has also been praised in various print articles, wedding planning websites, and bride & vendor blog’s. In 2008, he became the membership director for the American Disc Jockey Association – D.C. Chapter helping to create new standards along with the educational tools to help other DJ’s succeed (raising the bar).
